Alan Moore is a Senior Vice President at Mack|Crounse Group and has consulted on all levels of campaigns as a manager, Coordinated Campaign director, state party Executive Director and direct mail consultant.
In 2010, Alan created the mail to help Terri Sewell become the first African-American female member of Congress from Alabama. He worked with the Democratic Party of Arkansas to re-elect Governor Mike Beebe and he also helped re-elect freshmen Congressmen Ben Ray Lujan (NM-3) and Gary Peters (MI-9).
In 2008, Alan helped elect four new Democratic Members of Congress, three of whom defeated incumbent Republicans. Alan also partnered with Jim Crounse and Dylan Sumner to create persuasion mail for President Barack Obama’s campaign, helping him to historic wins in Virginia and Florida.
Alan has also been at the forefront of making Virginia competitive again for Democrats. He served as Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Virginia in 2001, managed Governor Tim Kaine’s statewide Coordinated Campaign in 2005, and directed Virginia’s first ever legislative Coordinated Campaign, helping to retake the State Senate in 2007. He also created mail for the last 4 successful Coordinated Campaigns (2005 – 2008); Congressmen Rick Boucher, Glenn Nye and Tom Perriello; Richmond Mayor Dwight Jones; Newport News’ first popularly elected African-American Mayor, McKinley Price; and Loudoun Supervisor Susan Buckley.
A Mississippi native and graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Alan got his start in politics as a White House intern and at the DCCC.
