Shanon Henry
Shanon Henry serves as a Vice President at MCG and has a diverse background in electoral politics, including campaign management, field and polling.
Before joining MCG, Shanon managed the successful 2006 campaign of Maryland Delegate Jeff Waldstreicher, one of the youngest representatives in the history of the state. In 2005, Shanon organized field and GOTV operations for the Virginia Coordinated Campaign in the Hampton Roads region, helping lead Governor Tim Kaine to his historic victory. Shanon also has a background in polling with The Mellman Group, where he spent the 2004 election cycle. In his role with Mellman, he provided support and analysis to a number of clients including John Kerry for President, Jennifer Granholm for Governor, and Christine Gregoire for Governor.
Prior to his political career, Shanon spent several years in the non-profit industry, managing projects for the Advocacy Institute. Among the programs he helped administrate was Leadership for a Changing World, the Ford Foundation's landmark effort to recognize and support resourceful community leaders around the country.
A Maryland native, Shanon graduated from Syracuse University with degrees in Law and Public Policy and Media Studies.
