MCG Wins Big in North Carolina and Indiana

MCG was proud to help North Carolina Lt. Governor Bev Perdue win a resounding 16-point victory in the May 6th Democratic primary in North Carolina. Perdue and her team won this hard-fought primary with the endorsements of prominent North Carolina leaders such as Harvey Gantt, former Congresswoman Eva Clayton, and 25 of 27 members of the NC Legislative Black Caucus, including Caucus Chair Alma Adams. If elected in the fall, Perdue would become North Carolina's first female Governor. To learn more about Bev Perdue's victory, click HERE and HERE. Congratulations Lt. Governor Perdue and the entire Perdue Team!

MCG also wishes to congratulate Congressman André Carson on his second victory in just eight weeks. He was first elected in a special election March 11th to fill the seat previously held by his grandmother, Congresswoman Julia Carson. MCG is excited to have been part of the winning Carson team in this hard-fought Democratic primary, which included a multi-candidate field and two self-funding opponents who combined to spend nearly $2 million of their own money.
