MCG Delivers for Pennsylvania Democrats
We produced mail that helped re-elect Congressman Paul Kanjorski, the #1 Republican target in the country. We also helped protect Congressman John Murtha from a late surge by his Republican opponent.
At the state level, MCG helped Pennsylvania House Democrats expand their majority from 102-101 to 104-99, a net gain of two seats. Our mail helped Democrats win in the state's top targeted seats, helping to re-elect Representatives Barb McIlvaine Smith and Dave Kessler, and electing new Representatives Bryan Barbin, Tim Briggs, Frank Burns and Paul Drucker.
In the Pennsylvania Senate, MCG's mail helped re-elect Senators Andy Dinniman and Mike O'Pake, and elect new Senator Daylin Leach.
In conjunction with the Obama field effort, MCG worked with the Pennsylvania Democratic Party to implement an absentee ballot and coordinated campaign effort. Our mail plan reduced down-ballot drop off, electing Democrats across the board and returning Auditor General Jack Wagner and State Treasurer Robert McCord to Harrisburg.
