MCG Congratulates Boswell, Luján and Warner

MCG was honored to produce direct mail for three victorious congressional candidates in June 3rd primary contests across the nation.

MCG produced direct mail for Congressman Leonard Boswell's decisive 22-point victory in Iowa's closely watched 3rd congressional district primary election. Boswell carried every county in the district including Polk County.

MCG client Ben Ray Luján won a six-candidate race with 42% of the vote, defeating multi-millionaire developer Don Wiviott, who spent more than $1.5 million on his campaign. Luján countered Wiviott's 3-to-1 spending advantage with the endorsements of Governor Bill Richardson, former Secretary of the Interior Stewart Udall and many environmental and labor organizations.

MCG client Russ Warner won his primary with 67% of the vote. Warner is a successful small businessman who was urged to run for office by his son who is serving in Iraq. Running on a platform of change, Warner is ready to challenge Republican Rep. David Dreier this fall.
