Jason Carter Wins Special Election
MCG Partner Kevin Mack and Vice President LeAnna Dinardo led the team that provided an integrated plan for direct-mail and online communications for Georgia State Senator-elect Jason Carter.
Senator-elect Carter received 65.6% percent of the vote, and won every precinct in a four-person race in Senate District 42, which covers portions of Atlanta and Decatur in DeKalb County.
Carter will fill the seat that became vacant when former State Senator David Adelman left to become the U.S. Ambassador to Singapore.
A practicing attorney, Carter has defended Georgia’s most vulnerable citizens and protected voting rights. Jason serves on the boards of the DeKalb Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence, the Georgia Afterschool Investment Council and Georgia Appleseed, an organization lifting people out of poverty. Jason also co-founded Democrats Work to engage Democrats in visible, tangible projects in their communities.
