NCAE’s One Voice Rally Attracts Thousands
Thousands of educators, parents and students protested devastating cuts to public education in Raleigh on May 3rd. The One Voice Rally, organized by the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE), attracted teachers from across the state uniting their voices against wrong-headed policies being pushed by the Republican leadership. The rally was also attended by Governor (and MCG client) Bev Perdue, who voiced her strong support for public education.
MCG provided direct mail for the NCAE that informed their membership of the actions the Legislature was undertaking and urged them to take action against these proposals by attending the rally.
