MCG Partner, Jim Arnold, is honored to join the energized group of Arlington leaders from the private, nonprofit and government sectors participating in Leadership Arlington, Class of 2010. The Leadership Arlington program brings together 48 community leaders with business, professional or personal ties to Arlington for a series of seminars on leadership over the next nine months. The focus is on both honing leadership skills and working to improve life in Arlington. Jim is looking forward to participating in this dynamic program with fellow Arlington leaders!

Johnson has managed successful Democratic Senate campaigns in Republican Nebraska for Kerrey and Nelson, most recently guiding Nelson's re-election victory in 2006.
Jim Crounse, a native of Omaha who holds a Political Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, is widely regarded as the leading direct mail consultant for Democratic candidates nationally.
Johnson's record as campaign strategist and message-crafter is remarkable.

Paul Johnson Joins MCG Team
MCG is excited to announce that Paul Johnson has joined the team as the firm's newest Senior Vice President.
Paul joins the firm with over 30 years of national political experience at the highest levels. He served as a manager or general consultant to nine U.S. Senate campaigns, helping win eight of the nine elections, including campaigns for Senators Tom Daschle, Bob Kerrey, Ben Nelson, Mark Pryor and Jeff Merkley. Paul has also worked on, and run, several presidential campaigns including those of Bob Kerrey, Bob Graham, Wes Clark and Walter Mondale.
During the 1996 and 1998 election cycles, he served as Executive Director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Paul also ran the DSCC independent expenditure operation in 2004.
Paul has also served as Chief of Staff to Senator Bob Kerrey and as Senator Tom Daschle's State Director.
Paul will be based in Shreveport, LA, where he lives with his wife, Amy Watkins, and their two daughters, Emma and Anna Claire.

MCG FL Office Moves to New Location
Mack | Crounse Group announced today the opening of its new location in Tallahassee, Florida.
MCG Senior Vice President Dylan Sumner will use this office to serve MCG clients in Florida and throughout the South -- including teachers unions and other major institutions across the region and candidates running for office at all levels.
“Our new location allows us to expand our capacity even more and continue to provide all our clients with the highest level of service... and I can smoke ribs on the back deck,” said Sumner.
Shanon Henry Promoted to MCG Vice President
MCG is pleased to announce that Shanon Henry has been promoted from Account Executive to Vice President.
"No one works harder or cares more about his clients than Shanon Henry," said MCG Partner Kevin Mack. "This is something Shanon earned through his dedication, team approach and work ethic."
