Buttigieg’s Big Win in South Bend
MCG congratulates Pete Buttigieg and his campaign on their decisive May 3rd victory in the South Bend Democratic mayoral primary. Pete received 55% of the total vote in the crowded five-way primary race, with his closest competitor trailing him by more than 30 points.
Pete focused his campaign on jobs and the economy, and building a fresh start for South Bend. MCG Partner Jim Crounse led the team that developed and implemented a direct mail plan highlighting Pete’s business background and new and innovative ideas to create jobs.
The piece shown below is an 8-page brochure which detailed Pete’s plan and vision for South Bend’s economic future. It was incorporated into subsequent mail pieces, helping to emphasize that Pete was the candidate with the experience and written plan needed to create jobs and turn South Bend’s economy around.

MCG was proud to be a part of Pete’s winning team along with campaign manager Mike Schmuhl, media consultants Martha McKenna and Jenn Pihlaja, and pollster Diane Feldman. Click here to see a news story on Buttigeig’s big win and see some of his victory speech.
