Cruzing to Victory - MCG Helps Deliver Landslide Win for Florida’s Newest State House Member
MCG congratulates Janet Cruz on her impressive victory in the special election to fill the Florida state house seat vacated when Representative Michael Scionti resigned to join President Obama’s Administration. Representative-elect Cruz carried 64% of the vote in District 58 which covers parts of West Tampa, Town 'n' Country and Seminole Heights.
Dylan Sumner, Senior Vice President for MCG, served as a senior consultant to the campaign and delivered strategic and creative mail, helping Cruz secure the Democratic nomination and win the general election.
This victory builds on MCG’s undefeated record in Florida State House general elections.

MCG Donates Pollie Award Entry Fees to Haitian Relief
Nearly a month after the devastating earthquake in Haiti, relief efforts are still falling short. Over 200,000 Haitians were killed in the quake, many more were injured, hundreds of thousands remain homeless, medicine is lacking and food-aid barely meets the growing need. It is perhaps the worst natural disaster in modern history.
Times like these require each of us to do what we can to alleviate human suffering. In light of that, Mack|Crounse Group has chosen to forego the 2010 Pollie Awards in order to maximize our contribution to relief efforts in Haiti. We remain proud of our past showings at the awards and wish this year’s entrants the best of luck.

Remembering Mr. Murtha
Mack|Crounse Group was saddened to learn of the passing of Congressman John Murtha. A patriot in the truest sense of the word, he served our country abroad with valor, committed himself to improving the circumstances of our veterans and military, and worked every day to better the economic well being of his constituents in Johnstown and the rest of Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District.

MCG was honored to be a member of Mr. Murtha’s campaign team for several election cycles. Today, our thoughts are with his wife, Joyce; daughter, Donna Murtha; son, John Murtha and his wife Kathy; son, Patrick Murtha and his wife Lynn; and grandchildren Jack, Anne and Clayton.
In keeping with his family’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, MCG has made donations to the John P. Murtha Cancer Pavilion in Johnstown and the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center in Windber. In Mr. Murtha’s memory, we encourage you to do the same.
